I’m raising money for the Tunnel to Towers 5K in support of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
On September 11, 2001, FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller ran through the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel carrying 60 pounds of gear to reach the Twin Towers… and never came home. That act of pure courage is the foundation of everything Tunnel to Towers does today.
They provide mortgage-free homes to the families of fallen first responders and Gold Star families, and they continue supporting our nation’s heroes who still carry the weight of service every single day.
As someone who wears the badge, this mission hits close to home. These are our brothers and sisters. Their families deserve more than our thoughts — they deserve action.
